Privacy Policy

Game Time helps a youth soccer coach plan practices and manage playing time on game day. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it doesn't talk to any server we run. We don't have one.

What stays on your devices

• Your team. Rosters (players' names, jersey numbers and positions), attendance, practice plans, games, scores and minutes played are stored on your iPhone or iPad.
• iCloud sync. If you're signed in to iCloud, this data syncs between your own devices through your private iCloud database, under your Apple Account. We have no access to it.
• Live game state. The running game clock and practice timer are saved on the device you're using, so they survive the app being closed. They are not synced.
• Preferences, such as game-day settings, appearance and voice nicknames for players.
• Live Activity. During a game, the score and period clock appear on your Lock Screen. This is created and updated on your device; no push service is involved.

Microphone and speech recognition

Voice control is optional and off until you turn it on. The microphone is on only while you hold the talk button. What you say is turned into text by Apple's speech recognition so the app can make the substitution or log the goal you asked for. On devices that support it, recognition runs entirely on the device, and Game Time requires that. On older devices that can't recognize speech on the device, Apple's speech recognition service processes the audio under Apple's privacy policy. Game Time doesn't record, save or send audio anywhere itself.

To help recognize your players' names, the app builds a small speech model on your device from your roster and any nicknames you teach it. It stays on the device.

Backups

Export backup in Settings saves your data as a file wherever you choose to put it. Nothing is sent to us.

What we collect

Nothing. Game Time does not send any data to us or to any third party, and we cannot see your teams, players or games.

Children

Game Time is meant for adult coaches. It stores players' names and game records only on the coach's own devices and iCloud account, and we never receive them. Coaches should keep only what they need, such as first names and jersey numbers.

Retention and deletion

Your data stays until you delete it. Archive or remove teams and players in the app. To remove everything, delete the app, then delete its iCloud data in Settings › [your name] › iCloud › Manage Storage (or Storage) › Game Time.
