No peeking
Each game locks at its own kickoff, and nobody sees your pick on a game until it has started. Change anything until then.
The whole family plays
One phone can pick for the kids, a partner, or the friend who won't install anything. Each gets their own row on the board.
Nothing to type on Monday
Results come in on their own and the board updates for everyone. The commissioner stops being the pool's unpaid bookkeeper.
No money in it, on purpose
No ads, no tracking, no odds, no payments. Tally keeps your name, your picks and enough to sign you back in.
Why it exists
Every office pool used to be a sheet of paper on the break-room wall. Somebody drew the grid, somebody wrote the names down the side, and every Monday one person updated it in pen while everyone walked past to see where they stood. Somewhere along the way, pool apps turned into sportsbooks with a scoreboard glued to the front: an account form, then a deposit screen, then odds down the side.
Tally is the paper on the wall, done properly. It knows who won, it tells you on Monday morning, and it lets your daughter play. There's nothing to deposit and nothing to cash out, because the point was never the money. It was walking past the wall.
One pool, then more
It started with a single game, High Five, run for one group of friends this season on the web. A native iPhone app with Face ID, widgets and a Live Activity for Sunday is on its way, and more pool types (Survivor, Brackets and a golf Majors pool) are waiting their turn.
